a Fortune 100 corporation well known for its pursuit and implementation of best
practices, initiated a project in 2003 to improve collaboration between its distributed
legal teams, law firms, and suppliers. Engaging with Ernst & Young’s
Legal Business Advisory practice, DuPont embarked on a project to identify key
improvement areas, address their collaboration challenges, and find a way to centralize
their legal knowledge for greater leverage throughout the corporation; what emerged
was a project of much greater long term strategic impact named ‘The Collaborative
Edge’.
Please join Tracey Schreiner from DuPont and Bobbi Basile of Ernst & Young
for this very educational web seminar. You will get a glimpse into how DuPont
leveraged best practices to understand and address these areas that led to ‘The
Collaborative Edge’ and learn:
- How DuPont identified its collaborative challenges and to what extent it
was impacting its effectiveness with its internal teams, outside firms and
suppliers.
- How DuPont’s Legal IT team, using a Six-Sigma approach and working
alongside Ernst & Young, identified key areas in its litigation processes
that would gain efficiencies through a comprehensive collaborative solution.
- How this same in-depth study led DuPont to discover other areas of the organization
that could benefit from the same solution including the Knowledge Management,
Corporate Governance, and Technology organizations – expanding the overall
strategic scope of the initiative.
- Why DuPont selected Interwoven’s WorkSite MP to serve as the technology
foundation of this solution.
