Schwab eBusiness Executive and Former PeopleSoft CFO Bring Industry Expertise to Content Management Leader

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug 2, 1999 - Interwoven, Inc., a leading provider of content management software for the enterprise Web, today announced the appointment of Mark C. Thompson and Ronald E. F. Codd to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Thompson, an often cited eBusiness expert, is senior vice president and executive producer for Schwab.com, the online trading Web site for Charles Schwab & Co Inc., (NYSE: SCH), the nations largest online brokerage firm with over $11 billion in securities transactions each week. Mr. Codd is currently president and CEO of Momentum Business Applications, Inc. (Nasdaq: MMTM), a spin-off of PeopleSoft, Inc. that is focused on enterprise application software development.

Mr. Thompson brings an extensive background in finance and eBusiness strategy. He is a long-time advisor to chairman Charles R. Schwab, for whom he managed media strategy and financial communications for a decade. In addition to his activities at Schwab, Mr. Thompson was appointed by SEC chairman, Arthur Levitt, to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Consumer Affairs Advisory Committee in 1996. He serves on the Board of the National Investor Relations Institute, the Global Public Affairs Institute and sits on the Board of Directors of SeniorNet. Mr. Thompson has also served as a keynote speaker at prestigious events, including the World Economic Forum , Schwab CEO Speaker Series and Stanford Business School forums, among others.

Mr. Codd has served as Momentums president, CEO, and CFO since December 1998. Prior, he was senior vice president and CFO of PeopleSoft, a global enterprise resource management software provider. As PeopleSofts CFO from 1991 to 1998, he was responsible for all finance and administration activities and organizations. Mr. Codd served as corporate controller for MIPS Computer Systems, a microprocessor designer and computer manufacturer, from 1989 to 1991. From 1984 to 1989, he was corporate controller for Wyse Technology, a computer and peripheral manufacturer. Mr. Codd also sits on the Board of Directors for Adept Technology, Information Advantage and Intraware.
