Sunnyvale, Calif. - March 19, 2001 - Interwoven, Inc. (NASDAQ: IWOV), the leading provider of enterprise-class content management software, today announced that American Airlines (NYSE:AMR) plans to use Interwoven enterprise-wide to manage content across all of its Web properties. American Airlines selected Interwoven as its corporate standard because American expects Interwoven's content management solution to offer the scalability required by American's diverse, global Web properties.

A top spending priority for CIOs is eBusiness infrastructure and Web content management. Timely relevant content is why visitors come to a site and continue to return. Being able to deliver a compelling experience and doing it faster and with fewer resources is the goal.

Enterprise-class content management allows the global enterprise to be more efficient and productive thereby delivering more content with fewer resources. Robust workflow, user friendly tools and enterprise wide deployment allow business users to take control of the content and meet the demands of their dynamic eBusiness initiatives.
