By facilitating easy content tagging and contribution, Interwoven empowers Synopsys design tool and product experts to contribute "intelligent content" to the extranet, thereby giving customers up-to-date, easily searched, relevant and accurate information such as product FAQ's, application notes and tool scripts.

After using an internally-developed system for six years, Synopsys realized the importance of having a complete solution that would easily grow with their needs. Synopsys selected Interwoven's Content Infrastructure product suite because it provides an overall infrastructure for their extranet, allowing them to easily publish and update graphics, file and database content to the Web.

Making the Synopsys site easier to search was an important step in fulfilling their goal for a better customer online experience.
