Content Infrastructure Leverages Existing IT Investments

SUNNYVALE, California - September 10, 2001 - Interwoven Inc., (Nasdaq: IWOV), the leading provider of Content Infrastructure, today announced that adidas-Salomon AG, the second largest manufacturer of sporting goods worldwide, is using Interwoven's Content Infrastructure to support Internet-based initiatives for Web content creation, aggregation, management and deployment. One of the key reasons adidas-Salomon chose Interwoven's Content Infrastructure was its easy integration with their existing IT environment.

adidas-Salomon has begun implementation of Interwoven's Content Infrastructure product suite to build and manage diverse information requirements for a global extranet linking approximately 20 subsidiaries. Employees worldwide will be able to easily and efficiently create, update and share Web content in the first implementation phase.
