Interwoven OpenChannel Software Enables Content Delivery Across Multiple Wireless Devices
Ascot, U.K. - 25 September 2001 - Interwoven Inc., (Nasdaq: IWOV), the leading provider of Content Infrastructure, today announced that T-Motion PLC, a London-based mobile online services provider, has chosen Interwoven's Content Infrastructure product suite, including OpenChannel, for its mobile content needs, throughout the United Kingdom, Austria and Germany.
T-Motion will implement Interwoven's Content Infrastructure product suite to develop and manage Internet content for its regional and corporate web sites. In addition, Interwoven OpenChannel provides the ability to author once, tailor, and adapt content across multiple channels simultaneously, services T-Motion may employ in the future. OpenChannel is the first XML authoring environment to develop and publish content for multiple channels including wireless devices, Internet, print, e-mail, and syndication. Content contributors at T-Motion are able to leverage content from one Web initiative to many others as Interwoven Turbo for BEA WebLogic application server allows for easy integration with the company's existing technology investments.
"We are delighted that T-Motion has chosen Interwoven as the means to create and provide seamless services effectively across Web-enabled devices," explained David Ogidi, UK managing director of Interwoven. "Interwoven Content Infrastructure allows companies to adapt content creation to specific business processes. For example, Interwoven OpenChannel enables T-Motion content contributors to create and preview content formats, which allow them to shape content into single or multiple formats, from authoring for WAP to syndication destinations to language translation."
In April, Interwoven announced its new Content Infrastructure product suite, which includes products for content aggregation, content collaboration, content management, content intelligence, and content distribution.
