"It is an honor that Interwoven's real world enterprise content management implementation at CSFB has been distinguished as one of the best in the industry," said John Van Siclen, COO for Interwoven. "I believe that our ability to scale to the complex ECM needs of a world-class financial institution like CSFB and at the same time help them quickly demonstrate significant ROI is in itself an accomplishment and worthy of recognition."
Commended for their exceptional implementations of technology in the enterprise, the companies chosen for the RealWare honors demonstrated a high level of innovation and significant business impact. Interwoven customer Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) was profiled for the "Special Merit Award: Web Content Management Implementation" award detailing the selection process, highlighting the Interwoven technology and services that underpinned their enterprise-wide implementation.
Interwoven enterprise content management has been implemented on CSFB's 3,500 externally facing online properties, and since the implementation CSFB has seen dramatic improvements to their sites as well as significant efficiency gains. Total cost savings in IT contracting fees is projected to reach $5 million even while CSFB will be ramping up its site production by as much as 250%.
Interwoven continues to be recognized as an industry leader in enterprise content management. In April 2002, in partnership with Deere & Company, won KM World's Best Practice Award. And in December of 2001, Interwoven won Transform Magazine's Product of the Year 2001 for Enterprise Content & Collaboration Technology. In a Q4 2001 survey, Forrester Research asked 874 North American senior executives, "From which vendors will your company consider purchasing content management software?" Interwoven was cited among the vendors being considered by these executives. The findings are detailed in a March 2002 Forrester brief entitled, "Companies' Plans for Content Management in 2002," now available on Interwoven's Website at http://www.interwoven.com.tw/company/features/forrester/index.html
