With More Than 20 Years of IT Success, New MD Will Drive Continued Expansion of Japan Operations
Sunnyvale, California. - October 21, 2002 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), a world leader in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), today announced that Tadashi Murakami has been appointed as the managing director of Interwoven's Japanese subsidiary, Interwoven K.K. (Japan). Murakami has extensive experience providing information technology (IT) solutions, with more than 20 years experience in enterprise sales and operations management with companies such as Japan Parametric Technology Co., Ltd. and SAS Institute Japan, Inc.
"The appointment of Tadashi Murakami will allow Interwoven to best serve the needs of existing Japanese customers and partners and to develop the potential of the Japanese market for enterprise content management software," said Anurag Srivastava, vice president of Asia Pacific region, Interwoven.

Prior to joining Interwoven, Murakami was regional sales director for Japan Parametric Technology Co., Ltd. where he managed and developed a successful operation serving high-end CAD/CAM software requirements to Japanese business, especially the national automotive industry. He was previously a sales director at SAS Institute Japan, Inc., providing data warehouse analytical technology and business intelligence (BI) applications. Murakami is a graduate of Nihon University, Japan.
