Customer testing shows that by using VisualTemplate Builder, the time required for template-based publishing can be reduced by as much as 83 percent. VisualTemplate Builder includes a Macromedia DreamWeaver plug-ins, and also allows Web developers to use JAVA, VisualBasic, or PERL for any required scripting.

- High usability in TeamSite 5.5 means minimal training or administrative intervention because new contributors can use their existing authoring and office productivity tools. This means roll-out delays associated with user acceptance are minimized.

- Out-of-the-box workflows and easy-to-use upgrade tools have made implementations significantly easier.
