SUNNYVALE, Calif., - June 29, 2004 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), the world's next-generation enterprise content management (ECM) company, today announced that Interwoven and BEA will host a joint Webcast on Thursday, July 1, 2004, entitled Collaborative Portals: Addressing the Productivity Imperative WorkSite MP Collaborative Portlets for BEA WebLogic Portal.
What: The Business Challenge: Collaboration is considered vital to portal success and adoption, however many enterprises have stalled to fully integrate successful collaborative document management functionality into existing corporate portals, both internal and external. In this Webcast, Interwoven and BEA will uncover the requirements for a successful collaborative portal implementation, including the advantages of a Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and discuss the continuing need to boost employee productivity, improve business processes, and increase corporate agility.
The Solution: Interwoven's collaborative document management solution is optimized for BEA WebLogic Portal(tm). Interwoven WorkSite MP 4.0 portlets for BEA WebLogic Portal, which run natively on the BEA WebLogic Server(tm), set the standard for collaborative document management (CDM) functionality within portals. By introducing CDM features - such as full text and metadata searches, workspace views, and subscription lists into the proven BEA portal - employees, partners, and customers will realize even more value from their portal experience.
