Product Description
iImport Content Importer for Worksite is an advanced content-importer for Worksite that provides the ability to automatically import documents into Worksite as they appear in one or more directories. iImport is an extremely sophisticated and flexible system for importing documents into Worksite from one or more directories with PDF conversion capabilities, ODBC database connectivity, and user-definable multi-step processing definition. Here is an example of how iImport can be used: (1) iImport monitors one or more directory structures and processes files as they appear; (2) a status value is checked in an external database; (3) if the database indicates that the file is ready to be processed, it is imported into Worksite and secured to a specific Group; (4) an encrypted PDF (print-only) is created and stored in Worksite and is related to the original document; (5) security is set on the PDF file to allow read-only access to specific users; (6) a value is posted to a database table in the accounting system; (7) the original source file is deleted and processing resumes with the next file in the directory.
