MailPort Email Migration Utility:

The MailPort application provides the power of Bulk Import in addition to the ability to assign message profile information at folder, subfolder and even on individual email items.

This product is run by the firm administrator and provides import functionality for transferring email into the WorkSite content management system. This product runs on a Microsoft Windows 2000 workstation/server and interacts with both a SQL Server and the WorkSite.

Server 7.x/8.x. It has the following features:

• Bulk Import of email from the e-mail client to WorkSite
• Specify e-mail profiles/security based on client and matter information (ethical wall)
• Specify e-mail profiles/security based on folder structures
• Specify e-mail profiles/security on individual emails
• Propagate common attributes to all items within selected folder structures
• Use dynamic profile information to derive profile metadata from the message path
• Duplicate the e-mail Folder Structure within the WorkSite Folder tree

This tool allows users to see exactly what the information in each e-mail's profile will look like (for the entire import) prior to importing a single item. You also have the ability to see the results of your dynamic profiling before any imports are completed.
