MetaTagger Classifier
Classifier enables the precise and rapid assignment of content into custom categories or taxonomies. Content that is accurately categorized enables portals and search engines to display content based on categories that are relevant to end users. Classifier's robust architecture can categorize content into one or multiple taxonomies simultaneously, enabling businesses to deliver content in a precise, highly targeted manner. Classifier's open, taxonomy-driven approach enables businesses to create their own custom categories, use one of Interwoven's many pre-built industry taxonomies, or import any existing taxonomy or structure already used within the company.

MetaTagger Recognizer
Recognizer locates high-value terms within content such as product names, customer names, geographic regions, technical references, and procedural information. This capability helps companies reduce confusion and errors within content by standardizing on common terminology. Although you may refer to a product, service, or policy several different ways inside and outside your company, Recognizer's intelligent synonym matching will identify these references and resolve them to a standard nomenclature to enforce brand compliance. Summarizer reads content and automatically generates meaningful summaries. Extractor provides a flexible way to identify existing metadata or patterns within content - like keywords, descriptions, phone numbers, email addresses, website addresses, and product SKUs - and assign them as metadata that can be queried and found by applications. Extractor also looks inside XML and HTML content to identify specific values like titles, author names, and other attributes to assign as metadata.
